Carlton North Primary School PROJECT UPDATE

Builder appointment and design release 3 July 2025

Dear Carlton North Primary School community, I am thrilled to announce that we officially have a builder appointed to our project! After a thorough evaluation process, FIMMA Constructions Pty Ltd will deliver the construction of our school upgrade and bring the project to life.

Construction is set to begin mid-July and is forecast for completion mid 2026. Before construction starts, we’ll share details about the impact it will have on our school community. Rest assured that our top priority will be to minimise disruption to student learning.

It has now been confirmed that the project will include:

• Demolition of the brick storage building at the northwest corner of the school
• Minor internal demolition within the Upper School (karawun) and Infant (marnerlong) buildings
• Replacement of netball/basketball court, soccer pitch and play equipment
• A new administration and Foundation classrooms in the Upper School (karawun) Building
• A new staff lounge in the current library
• A new library in the current hall in the Infant (marnerlong) Building
• A new multipurpose building
• Landscaping and services
