2025 Foundation (Prep) Enrolments

Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.

Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined based on your permanent residential address.

Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.

The Department of Education has released an updated statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline for the 2025 school year.

The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Carlton North Primary School.

All government primary schools will follow the timeline in 2024 to support Foundation (Prep) enrolments for the 2025 school year.

If you do not reside in our zone, and would like to be added to our waiting list for Foundation 2025, please fill in this application form and return it to us via email or in person.

If you do reside in our school zone or have a sibling at the school and would like to enrol your child for Foundation 2025, please fill in this enrolment form and return it to us via email or in person.

Student Enrolment Form

Enrolment applications submitted after 26 July 2024 will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy.

Enrolling Year Levels Other Than Foundation

Students wishing to enrol in other year levels will need to be living at a permanent residential address where CNPS is the closest government school, although this may vary from year to year and between year levels. Enrolment of International Students

At times, we do enrol international students. International students seeking to enrol in a Victorian Government school must apply to the International Education Division (IED). Details of the application process and application forms are available from the www.study.vic.gov.au website. Families can contact the IED for advice about the application process. The website provides information on the education system in Victoria, how to make an application, student visa requirements, tuition fees and other publications and useful websites.
